Tree Top Walk

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is undeniably one of the natural treasures worth visiting on your trip to the South West WA. Located just off the South Coast Highway between Denmark & Walpole, this magnificent nature-based attraction will have you walking amongst the ancient tingle tree canopy 40 meters above the ground, on a state of the art, engineer designed walkway. The spectacular view & experience is unforgettable must – see and you may find you want to return again & again. Whilst you are here, wander the Ancient Empire walk trails around the base of these giants & experience the
beauty & majesty of our old growth forests on a fully accessible walk trail for children of all ages, wheelchairs and strollers.

Denmark Beaches W.A.

Within a short drive of Denmark you can be wandering along any number of truly beautiful beaches South Western Australia is home to.
Greens Pool & Elephant Rocks are situated close by to each other, perfect for a morning or afternoon of exploring & enjoying.
Greens Pool, located in William Bay National Park is pretty much paradise for folk of all ages with an expansive but sheltered
white sandy beach, sparkling blue & green water and vibrant rock pools to explore.

Just over the hill from Greens Pool, accessible by a walk path is the infamous Elephant Rocks, known for its enormous boulders that
look quite like a herd of elephants standing in the water.

Snorkelling at both of these beaches will offer outstandingly clear waters with lots of fish to admire in & around the coral that
lives around the big rocks.

For a less crowded but equally beautiful beach a bit further east & still within Williams Bay National Park, Madfish Bay is another stunning
slice of paradise to visit. Clamber over rocks, snorkel, explore rock pools & delight in the calm waters protected by huge rocks.
For the adventurous, a short & easy swim across the small bay takes you to rock pool heaven where hours can be spent exploring some of Denmark’s abundant rock pools.
On a calm morning, Madfish Bay which looks out to the grand Southern Ocean may well be one of the most divine beaches you will ever visit.

Pepper and Salt Restaurant

A perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon or a star filled evening, Pepper & Salt Restaurant offers a sensual dining experience for an intimate lunch or dinner. Located just outside Denmark on the South Coast Highway towards Walpole, it overlooks the Forest Hill vineyard & winery and has a beautiful sweeping views of the bushland beyond. Spices are rich and prominent in the Fijian/Indian inspired dishes and you can even arrange your own cooking masterclass with the chef!

The Lakehouse Denmark

Enjoy a relax by the picturesque lake with a glass of Lakehouse Wine, grazing on platters of delicious food made from fresh local produce and their own handcrafted Vinofood condiments. Opening their cellar door in 2006 The Lakehouse Denmark is located on Turner Rd, Denmark

Duckett’s Mill

For delicious locally made cheese Duckett’s Mill Wines is also home to Denmark Farmhouse Cheese, a small family run business making a wide variety of soft and hard cheeses by hand on site with milk sourced from a Dairy just down the road.

Bartholomews Honey & Wines

A family run honey business, working to produce the best Honey, Mead and Ice Cream available. Their hives are kept in the most pristine forests and natural bush land of Western Australia’s south west. They work carefully in order to be able to provide varietal honeys, with the result that each honey is very different in flavour. The hives are never put on cultivated crops ensuring the cleanest, purest unprocessed honey that can be produced.
With no chemicals or antibiotics used, each hive is unpainted on the inside, ensuring organic guidelines are adhered to.

Moombaki

The family run, small scale vineyard produces wines done well; hand-picked grapes, minimal intervention winemaking, and excellent oak barrelling which gives the wines the means to express their true character within their natural environment. Located in Kentdale on Parker Rd which runs between Scotsdale Rd & the South Coast Highway towards Walpole. Renowned for producing top award winning wines and for favouring an ecological and sustainable approach to their vineyard and surrounding wetlands.

Monkey Rock Winery

Monkey Rock Winery is located 10km west of Denmark in the vicinity of Ocean Beach, in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.
Since 2004 the family have been perfecting their process of producing wine with no added preservatives using traditional Italian methods.
Further to their wine range they also produce traditional Italian liqueurs such as Limoncello and Nocino, and some modern liqueurs such as choc orange, all with no added preservatives.
